Born in Cairns, Trent Stievano's career as a musician started at a very young age. Trent was not from a very musical family; however, this did not stop him from taking on new challenges, beginning his musical interest with vocals at an age of 7. Performing at the old city place sound shell, singing hits from 'phantom of the opera' to modern songs from 'Peter Andre', Trent knew that music was his passion.
With increasing interest in all genres of music, Trent began to learn saxophone and drums at 11yrs old, joining the school orchestra, jazz and rock bands. However, his love for singing saw him becoming obsessed with guitar.
From this point onwards, Trent was able to fine tune his talents as a singer and guitarist and began writing songs during his high school years. Playing at talent quests in Cairns, and around Far North Queensland, his love for music blossomed. The phenomenon of Australian Idol also intrigued Trent, trying out for the Cairns auditions, and became a top 6 finalist for Cairns.
Trent is a talented musician and has a lot of experience in weddings, corporate events and also a variety of venues.
The influences which have swayed Trent's musical career are quite extensive and include: Jack Johnson, Alex Lloyd, Cat Stevens, Bush, Crowded House, Pearl Jam, John Legend, John Mayer, Ed Sheeran and many, many more…
Trent's repertoire also consists of these artists and includes older classics from The Beatles, Billy Joel and Eric Clapton through to the more contemporary Greenday, Ronan Keating and James Blunt. His songs flow from Reggae and Rock to Ballads and Easy listening.
